  In the 1860 Wiscassett, Lincoln Co., ME census, Nancy Munsey (48) and daughter Betsey (4) are living in the household of Jonathan Munsey (75). Relationships are not listed, but Nancy’s husband Jonathan (b. 1829) died in 1859 so he would not be included on the 1860 census. Her father-in-law, William Alden Munsey (d. 1850) is deceased. The Jonathan Munsey in whose household she is living is likely the brother of William Alden Munsey - Jonathan, b. ca. 1785-87. We don’t know when he died, but his wife Sarah died in 1850 so he would be a widower in the 1860 census. If this is the correct Jonathan, his son Alex P. is listed in the census as living about six houses away, next door to the brother of his first wife wife (now deceased) Martha Blagdon.
