- Birdie A. Muncy, 79, of Charleston died Tuesday, May 16,
2000, in St. Francis Hospital after a short illness. She was a homemaker, a member of the West Virginia Democratic
Women's Club, a lifelong resident of Kanawha County and a graduate of East Bank High School. Surviving: daughters, Sharon L. Holbrook of Pratt, Jane Ann Coleman of Charleston; brother, W.D. Howell of Flint, Mich.; grandchildren, Scott Holbrook and Beth Chambers; five great-grandchildren. Service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Fidler-Frame Funeral Home, Belle, with the Rev. Virgil Brinegar officiating. Burial will be in Montgomery Memorial
